Born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. Eric was originally drafted in 2000 by The Cleveland Indians, in the 41st round out of Norfolk State University. He reached the Major Leagues in 2004 with the Toronto Blue Jays, after being traded on August 4, 2004. Since then, Eric has spent time with the New York Yankees, Cincinnati Reds, Boston Red Sox, and Baltimore Orioles playing a total of 11 professional seasons.
Recently, he has taken his passion for the game to the coaching & development side, opening a baseball academy working with athletes of all ages from Youth – Professional on all aspects of the game of baseball. Eric is going into his 10th season as the Head Varsity Baseball Coach for The Potomac School in McLean, VA and is 100% committed to helping players continue their playing careers at the next level.
Eric is a member of ABCA & PCA and has been developing players for 20 plus years sending hundreds to the college & professional level.
